'i'm so bad with japanese names' is a photo diary of my first trip to tokyo, japan which took place in the summer of 2010. it best depicts my time spent there which was one of a constantly glorious yet delirious state of mind. i was always moving and i couldn’t focus on one thing for too long. It was a dizzying sort of ‘live fast, die young’ feeling. It was an entire sea of fresh possibilities, a river of emotions and a waterfall of inspiration. a constant, fluid force that ran through me each and every second. each photo brings to life a personal recollection of a moment stuck in time. I will never forget what tokyo has done to me and to create this zine in memory of that timeframe feels a more than satisfying retrospect.
'i'm so bad With japanese names' is in collaboration with ‘Japan, I care!’ and can be purchased on their website www.Japan-I-Care.com. 60% of proceeds from this purchase go to the japanese red cross (in relief of the recent tragedy in japan) and global green USA (to support cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions).
