Bottega Veneta is Trying to Kill Me
Sorry, I've been drooling over Bottega's SS10 menswear collect for a while now. Not only are the runway looks incredible--the red, the military inspiration and dip-dye prints but everything is extremely wearable with the option of being really loud. Yet, what gets me are this season's leather goods--the wallets and the bags are so insanely clean and classic they make my heart stop. Here's my homage to everything beautiful about the SS10 Bottega Veneta collection:

I Hate Children
The Contributing Editor posts its first fashion film, FUCK THE KIDS. Its basically a moving editorial: four male models jumping and pushing each other around. There is a mid-century rock n' roll punk influence in the styling. Safe but fun.

Everyone Looks Good in Black
At the Hyères Fashion Festival held in France, up and coming designers get to show off their talents and hard work. This year's winner, voted on by the public is Tsolmandakh Munkhuu, a Mongolian designer based out of Paris. The silhouettes and textures in the collection really blend chic Parisienne and traditional Mongolian garments. The tribal accents and modern cuts create an interesting conversation. The designers choice to paint the models entirely black not only compliments the pieces but causes a stir amongst viewers. Is she trying to say something more than just 'everyone looks good in black'?
